This is my niece’s dream doll:
Balance Bikes– These bikes are great for young kids to help them learn to balance before learning to ride a bike.
Rollerblades- I believe you will find these rollerblades to be a huge hit. The small fits shoe sizes 12-2 and medium fits shoe sizes 2-5. The nice thing about them is that they grow with the child’s foot. Kids enjoy skating around the house (if you will allow it) during cold winter days. I have seen parents allow their children to wear them to clear the table.
If you are looking for additional items to go with the rollerblades, pads are a great choice. Helmets are also fun as an add on (and to keep your child safe).
Fun for all ages
This is a great gift for those of us that clean up after our kids! It often amazes me how infrequently my kids worn clothes wind up in their hampers (without me hassling them to do so). I had a good laugh with my friend this past week at how the kids could actually leave their dirty clothes on top of their hampers (being too lazy to pick up the lids!). This hamper could make getting clothes in the hamper fun (although no promises on the shots they miss!).
To make the gift even more fun, add in a ball. I’ve found that balls are the boys equivalent of women’s shoes- boys can never have enough. No matter what the occasion, my son is always happy to receive any type of ball as a gift.
Another great gift for boys, girls and adults is a magnetic dart board. We have and love this one because the darts are magnetic. Its not as authentic but has saved me many emergency trips to the doctor and vet.
If you like to shop for books for kids, I highly recommend this one:
Inspiration for healthy habits in 2018:
Most people are resolving to eat healthier and exercise more in the new year. I’ve found that gadgets to help accomplish this goal are often well received. Here are a few cyber Monday sale items I’d recommend to encourage a healthy lifestyle.
Nutribullet: This is a great little blender to make and take smoothies in. Comes with all of the pieces to blend and travel with. I keep one in my office and sometimes buy a few ingredients to blend for a mid-day snack. Protein powders make a great addition to this gift.
Foamroller– For the old or new fitness enthusiast, nothing beats foam rolling. It has many benefits including easing tired ands or muscles as well as getting rid of cellulite. I love my foam roller and highly recommend it as an affordable gift.
Yoga/ exercise mat– This mat is super cushy and will encourage kids and adults alike to lay down and train. It can be used for many things. When I do training programs outdoors, I encourage my clients to bring a mat so that they do not have to perform on the cold (and perhaps damp) floor. This mat also doubles as a yoga mat. Some experienced yogis prefer a thinner mat but that is a conversation for another day.
Happy Shopping- Sincerely, Lisa
