As you know, I am very focused on food as medicine and a weight loss tool- also, I love drinking a smoothie. Don’t get me wrong, If I’m sick, I’m going to a western doctor and feel very comfortable with western medicine. That being said, I do believe that eating clean food with the right combination of nutrients can help us all be the best version of ourselves. I happen to love smoothies and have traveled the world looking for fun, rare and exotic blends. Here some of my new favorites from Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Israel and of course some tried and true NYC and LA blends. I have been recommending these to my personal training and yoga clients who are seeking a natural energy boost (with extremely positive results).
I’ve also been testing some ingredients to help with memory loss. I cannot tell if it’s because I’m constantly multitasking or its being 40-something but my memory is no longer what it was.
Try them out (btw: my Vitamix makes me so happy and I highly recommend you buy one if you can afford it). Let me know what you think of these great smoothie blend combinations.
