Learning my Ayurvedic Dosha was life changing.
With my private Ayurvedic counselor I was lucky enough to do an in-depth study of my Dosha. My yoga journey and Ayurvedic medicine lessons have been life changing. I can honestly say that I have never felt better and I owe it to my movement and eating for sure. Last weekend I was in Atlantic City for a cheer competition with my daughter (Go Extreme Cheer- National Champions!!!). I ate garbage and sat around all weekend. Within a day, I felt awful- it was amazing how noticeable the difference was. My stomach hurt, my head vacillated between pain and fog and I felt so tired!! On Monday, I was back to eating healthy for my dosha and bam- I felt so much better!
In Ayurvedic medicine, there are three basic body types known as the doshas. Each of us are blessed with a unique blueprint that determines our dosha. Some people are born with brains. Some people are born with great looks. Some people are born with great public speaking abilities. Everyone has a different Ayurvedic dosha. Understanding your Ayurvedic Dosha will help incredibly with foods, exercises and other life choices. Once you know your individual body type, try nourishing it properly.
